SpotX hunting (2.6) Accommodation:Glaisnock Hut, or base camp at Narrows Creek. Access:Boat. Walk up the true right by climbing steeply up for a few hundred metres, then sidle into the valley head. Permits:Apply DoC Te Anau. Restrictions:Wapiti block, bugle ballot restrictions apply. Hunting Tips:Half-day walk to reach the head of the valley. It is possible to access the head of Newton’s Creek from the head of Narrows Creek. You can also access Long Gully from around the lake. All three valleys have good bush stalking and in particular the head basins. There is also good hunting on the alpine tops.
