Access:Situated 10km north of Fairlie on SH79, the lake has three boat ramps: one at the northern end by Ribbon Wood Creek off Clayton Road, one off Trentham Road in the south and the third one off Opuha Dam Road. Walking access is off Opuha Gorge Road and from all three boat ramps. Hunting Tips:The best hunting is at the top end of the lake, from established maimai. Stalking and jump shooting is also an option.
