Grade:1. Easy driving, no rough terrain, vehicle could get dusty, road tyres, novice drivers.

Access:Start track from cemetery at Port Levy and on to Western Valley Road.
Features:This track is what the roads were like in the early 1900s and very little has changed. The road begins easily enough with a pleasant drive up the valley, but at about 2.4km along, you cross over a bridge and from there the road narrows and is all twists and turns and hairpin bends as it steadily climbs its way towards Little River. The road is very steep in places. There is a ford to cross along the way, and if it has been raining, then care must be taken. About 6km out from Little River the road starts to widen again. Travelling this road is just as it might once have been when the old Model As were king of the road. Little River, which is where the old railway used to end, still has memorabilia and the old Little River Railway Station, which is worth a look. Be sure to watch for stray cattle as you travel this road — once we came around a corner and were face to face with an enormous bull.
