Llew JonesTe Ra Llew Jones is the skipper and owner of the Whangamata based charter boat, Te Ra. Llew has been fishing for most of his life with his first paid marine job at the age of 10 as boat boy. Since then Llew indulged his love of the sea with both recreational fishing and commercial fishing on a part time basis until he bought Te Ra fifteen years ago. Llew writes a regular column for NZ Fishing News and is a member of the Whangamata Ocean Sport fishing Club. Te Ra (The Sun) is a 45 foot launch available for casual trips and charters in the Eastern Coromandel / Bay of Plenty, operating out of Whangamata. << Back |
